At VenueLambeth, we believe that every celebration and event should bring people together and create unforgettable memories. However, we are equally dedicated to minimising our environmental impact.
As a part of London Borough of Lambeth, we contribute to Lambeth’s Climate Action Plan which sets out a vision and goals for our borough to become net zero compatible and climate resilient by 2030.
VenueLambeth are also members of the Sustainable Wedding Alliance, joining a collective of businesses working together to reduce the wedding industry’s impact on the planet.
Hirers and their suppliers are therefore expected to follow the guidance within Lambeth's Green Events Guide when planning and delivering their celebrations and events.
Our commitment to sustainability is woven into our operations and we are working hard to continually improve our understanding of sustainable practices and reduce our carbon footprint. By partnering with our community, clients, and local businesses, our aim is to set an example in the event industry and encourage others to join us in our mission.

Our mission is to achieve our sustainability objectives by fostering strong partnerships with our community and clients and encourage our partners to do the same.
Our Pledge
In 2024, VenueLambeth pledge to;
- Ban single use plastics
- Reduce single use decorations
- Improve recycling and reduce contaminated waste
- Encourage the use of local business
- Encourage use of vegetarian and vegan catering suppliers
- Conduct carbon literacy training for staff and suppliers
